—————

As Is Told is a storytelling series that will be on the 3rd Sunday of the month, quarterly (April, July, October, and January) from 4-6 at Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice. As Is Told will highlight local, national (and occasionally) international professional storytellers.

On April 19th, the tellers will be Albuquerque teller Sarah Malone and Las Cruces teller Juba Addison in "Still Tenderness Survives".

What are stories but templates for facing one's fears, confronting foes, or overcoming obstacles? Yet the best tales reveal an underlying grace - a tenderness - that flows from facing life's most challenging circumstances, whether in myth, legend, or personal experience. Talkback after performances.

Join us for an evening of such stories, told by two veteran storytellers, drawing from a lifetime of such experiences. Suitable for ages 12 and up.

$10 at door. Sponsored by Storytellers of New Mexico.

For additional information, email Producer, Elaine Muray.
