ALBUQUERQUE FOLK FESTIVAL - OCTOBER 6-7, 2023

The Albuquerque Folk Festival is an annual festival featuring music, dance, and storytelling presented through performances, workshops, jams, and so much more across the grounds of the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  New this year there will be live music performances on Friday evening, October 6th.  This is going to be a great festival including storytelling with STNM members.

This year’s festival features Friday night music on October 6th, as well as the beloved all day festival on October 7, 2023 and the National Hispanic Cultural Center. With over 100 activities - music, dancing, storytelling, workshops and more, it can’t be beat!

STORYTELLING ALL DAY ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2023 FROM 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Almost all the featured tellers are members of Storytellers of New Mexico! Congratulations!

10:30-11:00 AM: Our Connection to Earth and Sky with Dianne Rossbach

11:00 - 12:00: Music Fractals & Faerie Lore with Kaade (A newcomer to STNM! Welcome!)

12:30-1:30 PM And Then Inspiration Came to Me with Matilde Machiavello

1:30-2:30 PM Midieval tales & Music with Scott & Johanna Hongell-Darsee

2:30-3:30 PM A Trip on the 4 Winds with Elaine Muray

3:30-4:30 PM Older than Yesterday, Younger than Tomorrow with Mo’ Bob
