Featuring: Liz Mangual and Bob Kanegis in The Way of the Storyteller, an evening of tales that celebrate the intersection of myth, folktale, family and culture.
Liz and Bob’s Puerto Rican-Jewish Potluck wedding was the beginning of their long partnership in life and story. They perform and teach at schools, libraries, camps and conferences across the country. They encourage others to tell their own stories through initiatives like F.E.A.S.T! (Families Eating and Storytelling Together!) and their Threefold Legacy coaching work. Notable collaborations include work with The United Nations Association, migrant farm worker families, incarcerated youth and years long award-winning oral language development residency with Santo Domingo and Cochiti schools. You’re most likely to cross paths with them, binoculars and magnifiers in hand, talking story, on one of their “Rambleyaks.” Liz currently serves as the President of the Board of Storytellers of New Mexico.
