The New Mexico Humanities Council, Historic Fairview Cemetery and the Before I Die NM Festival are organizing a live storytelling event taking place on November 2nd . Members of the community are invited to submit their stories to tell on stage in the cemetery by Oct. 15.

Cemetery Stories: Life, Death and Beyond is a live storytelling event that will give people the opportunity to share a story they have about their experience with death and dying. Not all stories have to be somber in tone, there are many feelings that come along with death and dying.

We are looking for story submissions that address these themes and invite all members of the community to submit a piece they’ve written or have been thinking about. This will be the closing event of the Before I Die NM Festival.
