This month’s slam will be on the THIRD Tuesday due to Xmas Eve. Usually on the 4th Tuesday at the Canteen Brewhouse on Aztec Road!

Duke City Story Slam is a true storytelling night. Open Mic and Featured storytellers compete for top score and prizes.

December's theme is "Chosen Family". The holidays are often a time when we celebrate and gather with family. This month, we're telling stories about the families we choose rather than being born into... Those friends who get us and are so important they become family. Those communities we build that become a home away from home. Or maybe those special people who step up and are there for us when our birth families don't and aren't.
