We are so excited for Ghosts from the Past at Fort Selden Historic Site in one week, on Saturday, October 8th! You’ll meet one of Pershing’s Pancho Villa Expedition soldiers, a curandera, learn about tuberculosis from Juba Addison, encounter a mine disaster, and more! The site festivities will begin at 4:00pm with a food vendor and family crafts. A short 30-minute talk on Día de Los Muertos, Halloween, and New Mexico will take place in the Pavilion at 4:30pm. Live music will be on site from 5pm-7pm. The timed tours will begin at 6:00pm. Tickets can be purchased now by visiting https://my.nmculture.org/11030/13992. Tickets can be purchased at the door but by purchasing tickets ahead of time, you can choose your tour time. $5/adult. Free for children 16 years and under. All activities will take place outside.
