This month’s theme: Looking Forward-Looking Back

January is named for Janus, Roman god of doors, gates, transitions. The keeper of liminal space, that moment between what was and what is to come. He was depicted with two faces, looking to the future and to the past. Wow! Lots of images, metaphors to chew on as we slide from this year to the next.

Craft a story: beginning, middle, end. Find places for good sensory details. Paint us a picture of where and who and what. And tell us the story. In eight minutes! (stories can be original or traditional)
