A “Black Tie” Event
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the City of Albuquerque and Community Partners are hosting the first annual Indigenous Life Celebration, spanning over two days and featuring an Inaugural Native American Film Festival, co-presented by Two Worlds (Native Theater and Performing Arts).

2 PM - 5 PM Opening Remarks - Keynote Address by Ms. Deanna Allison, actress from AMC’s Dark Winds
5:30 - 6:30 PM Indigenous Fashion Show featuring Tse Rock by Toni Racquel Begaye.
7:00 - 11:00 PM Indigenous Film Premier including screenings of:
Turquoise Rose by Holt Hamilton
Emmy Award winning, However Wide the Sky: Places of Power by Silver Bullet Productions and
A Winter Love by Rhiana Yazzie
This is a Free family-friendly event featuring fun interactive activities promoting culture, language and heritage. There will be a small reception following the film premiers at the KIMO lobby area with photo booth area available.
