Theme: LEAP

Leaping Lizards! 2024 is a Leap Year. Will it be a leap forward? Do we need to take a leap of faith? Or should we turn tail, take a giant step back, maybe play a rousing game of leapfrog just for run?

Leap year traditions about. Often they have to do with inversions. For example, there is a South German practice of a young man’s gifting a birch tree sapling to his desired, but in a Leap Year it is the young woman who gives the tree. Many things only happen in Leap Years.

Maybe Leap Year is a time for inversions of all kinds.

Do any of these thoughts evoke a story? Bring it in, or bring whatever story you are currently devising.
