Here’s our topic for March:

Marching Orders—or—March Hare: You Choose

Here comes March Madness and to celebrate it, we suggest two related themes for you to mull over and have some fun with. In lots of folktales and mythologies the protagonists go on a journey, a quest forced upon them. Of course, in real life, no one is ever given those proverbial orders, right? (That’s a joke.) Note: “The hare is master of the quick turn.”

Join the StoryCrafters on March 9th for our monthly dive into form and style along with whys and wherefores of stories and storytelling. We have an 8-minute limit, so craft that tale, whether traditional or original.

To prompt your thinking, here’s a fabulous article on hares and the behavior that has inspired such wide and wild associations:

The magical mythology of mad March hares:

We look forward to hearing your story, traditional or original. Listeners as well as tellers are welcomed.

If you are newly joining us, we ask that you take your first session to listen to our stories and to observe our process.

Please RSVP and/or ask questions to both Lucinda and Regina; email addresses are below.
